About Magenta
We're a Toronto-based boutique cybersecurity consultancy serving public sector organizations, regulated industries, and growth-stage businesses. Our team combines senior practitioner experience — 20+ years across government, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, and technology — with a strategic partner network in privacy law, post-quantum cryptography, AI safety, and intelligent IT.
We work the way the best firms work: structured methodology, recognized frameworks, defensible documentation. But we deliver the way a boutique should: with senior practitioners on every engagement and no junior bait-and-switch.

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Graeme Abrahams
Graeme has spent over two decades at the intersection of cybersecurity, IT, and governance — leading incident management, risk programs, strategic projects, and most recently AI governance work across government, healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, telecommunications, and not-for-profit sectors.
But what sets Graeme apart isn't the technical resume. It's where the story started.
Before moving into technology, Graeme worked as a social worker specializing in child protection. That early career instilled a deep commitment to safeguarding people — and when his work shifted into the digital world, that same orientation came with him. He sees cybersecurity not as a technology problem but as a people problem: how leaders make decisions under pressure, how organizations communicate during a crisis, how trust is built and broken.
Today, he brings that combination of technical depth and human insight to every engagement. Whether facilitating an executive tabletop, building a fractional CISO program, or guiding an organization through AI governance, his work is grounded in the same idea: security is about people first, technology second.
Also serves as: Fractional CISO at Black Mentorship Inc.
